She wants the truth, not an excuse.
She wants his heart, not his intellect.
She felt neglected, but she went on and showered him with her love.
She wrote thousands of poems, every phrase illuminated by her agony.
She wrote thousands of songs, every verse demystifying her pain.
Her smile wasn’t everything you have to believe.
Look deeper into her eyes, behind its sparkle are a bunch of tears fighting not to fall.
Confused and hurt.
But she believes she’s a diamond.
She refused to cry and continues to shine.
She’s in pain,
She’s in vain; and
amid the rain,
She managed to light a fire to keep her warm.
She distanced herself, attempting to flee from reality.
But then, she found herself walking back on line number one.
And her life continued to move in circles with the same person in mind.
